What You'll Learn

1. Why You Should Be Concerned About Equality, Diversity & Inclusion In Your Company?
As business owners, senior executives and HR managers, it is our duty to build a culture of inclusive growth. Without a workforce that reflects your clientele's and customers' diversity, they might feel that their needs are better met somewhere else and leave you. That's why, in 2018, companies with more diverse management reported 19% higher revenue.

2. How D&I Will Help You Hire & Retain The Best Talent In Your Industry.
Let's face it, the only way to stay ahead of the competition is to hire the best in your industry. But in the modern working world, hiring and retaining the best talent is very difficult. With so many options available to them, employees are seeking workplaces with a social impact, purpose, and the ability to provide a work-life balance.

 3. What Is The Difference Between "Black Hat" & "Yellow Hat" Thinking?

The worst companies think of inclusion strategies only to put out fires, get out of PR disasters or basically anything that's not in the best interest of their employees. That's called Black Hat thinking. On the other hand, the best organisations think of inclusive strategies as a way to grow in a positive direction, grab opportunities and help their employees. This is what we call yellow hat thinking.

4. What Exactly Is The Meaning Behind "Inclusive Growth"?
In my opinion, Inclusive Growth happens when organisations represent the diversity of their customer base, are able to appeal to the diverse talent pools available to them and the communities in which they are based — and have a work environment or culture where people feel respected for who they truly are, that they belong in the organisation, that they can progress unhindered and feel empowered that their organisation can only grow and prosper.

5. Understanding The Core Concepts Behind My 'Inclusive Growth Framework.'

In this webinar, you'll learn all there is to know about my time-tested principles of 'Inclusive Growth Framework' and how it's helping companies like SONY, CBC and SAP to build an environment where the best talents can thrive and move their companies forward through innovation.

 6. How To Implement The 'Inclusive Growth Flywheel' In Your Organisation.

This webinar is not going to be filled with boring theories. You will get detailed action plans to get you started on your journey. I will also give you access to a helpful cheat sheet to simplify and clarify the need for diversity and inclusion in your business at the end of this webinar.

Meet Your Trainer

Toby Mildon, A Mentor Who'll Help You Create a Positive Culture Where Everybody Performs At Their Best

Hello, I'm Toby! For me, diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords. It has been my life for as long as I can remember.

I’ve dealt with inequality in my career and my personal life – building an understanding of just how powerful diversity and inclusion can be along the way.

Of course, I’m driven by my own experience and my belief that we all have a place in this world. But I’m also driven by the evidence that building a culture of inclusive growth can genuinely help organisations thrive.

I was born in rural Somerset and was soon diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disability – Spinal Muscular Atrophy – something that would shape my life forever.

I was desperate to enter the workforce like my friends but encountered my first instances of prejudice and bias as a disabled person. A local bank manager saw my potential, though, and gave me the opportunity to work part-time for Lloyds Bank.

And that was the start of a fruitful career path, working for prestigious companies like British Airways, Accenture and Cerner.

But everything changed when I started to work at BBC. I got my first taste of professional diversity and inclusion, chairing The BBC Ability Disabled Staff Forum.

My experience at the BBC had given me an incredible opportunity to make diversity and inclusion my career. And, soon after, I had the chance to join Deloitte as a diversity and inclusion manager within the firm.

I knew that promoting diversity and inclusion in business was what I wanted to do for the rest of my career. So much so, that I set up ‘Mildon’, my own D&I consultancy. I even wrote my own book, ‘Inclusive Growth’, available on Amazon!

Sonia Cochet | Director of People & Talent, Gate One Consulting

"Toby will save you a lot of time."

"This kind of work isn’t easy, and having support from an expert like Toby who has done it before will save a lot of time and give you the confidence that you are on the right track."

Cheryl Richardson | Director of People and Culture, Plan International UK

"It's the best money we've invested."

"Don’t hesitate. It’s the best money we’ve invested. The process felt light touch but it provided deep transformation. We didn’t feel we had to chase anything or be anxious. The process is very transparent. It all makes sense and the documents are simple. Toby has taken us on a longer journey that continues to deliver meaningful results."
